I read your Skype Video Bummer journal and I totally get it. Its not about vanity at all. It truly is shocking when you see yourself for the first time and realize that you look ill. Its like - Wow! I really am bad off here! - And that is hard to face for the first time. Our unhealthy appearance is also a shock to loved ones and friends who havent seen us since our health started deteriorating. One of the things I like about needing to wear a mask is that I can hide myself behind it. So, I get it. I really do. No advice. Just offering camaraderie.
