It is such a pity that our brains can't remember everything forever. We struggle to remember today at the expense of yesterday. Still, it does not stop us from finding ways to help our family remember our eyes, our smile, the sound we make when we nag, and perhaps even our touch.
Today, I suddenly think about how much of the past that I have forgotten coming this far. I try to recall what my parents told me when I had a bad day or how they smiled when I did something silly. Unsurprisingly, I come up with nothing.
If only they were born in this era of technology, I probably wouldn't miss them this much.
